People are divided over 'insane' interiors of £250k three-bedroom home on sale - what do YOU think?

An available semi-detached house has gone viral online and split opinions due to its 'crazy' vintage interiors.

The three-bedroom house, which was up for grabs for £250,000, has caused a stir on social media for its retro rooms.

A video uploaded onto the platform TikTok The page titled "housinghorrors" began with: 'I recently stumbled upon a 1970s fantasy home listed on Rightmove; take a look since the inside design is spectacular.'

As soon as the clip moves to the living room of the house, the hosts exclaimed: "Goodness me, I've never laid eyes on this many patterns throughout my whole life."

'I want to say this outright: I genuinely don’t mind it at all. In fact, it feels incredibly joyful and warmly comforting. There’s something quite charming about it.'

'It’s safe to assume that some delightfully content grandparents resided in this property at some point in the past.'

Throughout the property, the floral theme is evident and is apparent from the moment you step through the door.

From the sofa all the way to the bedrooms, the colors are vibrant and impossible to miss, making it a delightfully cheerful home.

As the video points out: "Clearly, this won't appeal to everybody; many might find it quite old-fashioned. Nonetheless, it’s delightful to observe how the owner's character shines through in the interior design."

On this page, how often do you notice those dreary, monotonous gray contemporary interiors? This one stands out with personality. It’s whimsical and vibrant. It simply exudes charm and feels like a welcoming, snug haven.

Nevertheless, this property may not appeal to everybody, as several individuals expressed their dissatisfaction with its design.

One commented, "I would need to redecorate or simplify it since contrasting colors and intricate designs can be overwhelming for my senses, though the room dimensions are quite pleasant."

Another user mentioned: "I adore it. Though I would modify it, my affection for it remains."

Meanwhile another user did not hold back, saying: 'If I wanted to live in the 1950s I would go live with Nigel Farage.'

Another person merely remarked: "It seems like a migraine."

However, some were not as harsh and actually mentioned that the design had lifted their spirits.

You're completely correct! The person who decorated that house surely had a joyful spirit. Those colors and floral designs exude happiness; it seems like a space filled with positive energy and affection!

This follows an apparently regular house in Northamptonshire being listed for sale at £165,000; however, its starkly different inside design has surprised many people.

The property painted yellow in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, seems to resemble all the other houses on this completely typical street.

However, once you step into the house, it reveals a completely different narrative, causing surprise among visitors due to its 'wild' and 'disorderly' decor.

The hallways feature Baroque-style wallpaper covering their walls, complemented by an array of photographs spanning different eras and several mirrors for added decor.

Vibrant pink beads hang from the doorway, contrasting sharply with the bold red carpet and magenta lamps that compete for attention against the wall colors.

This motif carries over into the living area of the two-bedroom home, where striped and floral blue wallpaper adorns the walls along with multiple photos displayed.

Shades of vibrant pink persist throughout the space, with a table covered by a colorful tablecloth positioned in the middle.

Chinese dishes along with some seemingly collectible toys are displayed on a cabinet, watching over anyone who might sit on the couch.

A TikTok creator known as Housing Horrors characterized the cozy home as 'structured mayhem.'

'I am overwhelmed with all this activity; I can hardly decide what to focus on,' stated the social media user. 'However, it does seem quite well-organized.'

'This place certainly appears to be well-lived-in, with all the signs of a loving home and a caring family. However, there seems to be quite a bit happening here.'

Moreover, the quirky theme extends to the kitchen, where the refrigerator along with numerous cabinets are covered in vividly colored fruit magnets and letters.

The TikTok user pointed out that the kitchen, filled with an abundance of fridge magnets, was, according to him, 'the cherry on top'.
