David Beckham Reveals His Ultimate Fanboy Moments for Spice Girls on 50th Birthday Tribute

Victoria Beckham And The Spice Girls have honored her husband – the original 'Spice Boy' David – as the ex-England national team footballer turns 50.

They've been married since 1999 after getting hitched when David was playing for Manchester United and Victoria was still present at the Spice Girls .

After spending their whole marriage under public scrutiny, they've once again attracted attention as a pair following the release of the Netflix documentary Beckham.

Now at 51, Victoria has honored David by sharing a dedicated post on Instagram for the father of their four children and her spouse of 26 years.

She was accompanied by the Spice Girls' official Instagram account, which shared images of David sporting a Spice World holiday sweater and a T-shirt featuring a picture of his spouse as Posh Spice.

It was paired with the 1997 song "Spice Up Your Life" and included the caption, 'One of our original Spice Boys celebrates his 50th birthday today! Happy birthday @davidbeckham.'

In the meantime, Victoria showed her respects by sharing a video. collection of memories from David’s journey , encompassing both private and public moments, accompanied by a heartwarming caption that melted the hearts of her 32.9 million followers.

When I watch this video, I feel so fortunate," she started, continuing with, "You embody all my dreams and even surpass them. Wishing you a very happy 50th birthday David. My love for you and our wonderful family knows no bounds. You make me whole.

The video also included highlights of their journey through the years, showcasing them as a young couple, then as new parents, and finally from more recent times as well.

In response to the video, the Spice Girls fan group SpiceGirlsNet dubbed David as 'the original Spice Boy' and extended their wishes for his happy birthday.

Author Loren Ridinger sent her love, saying: ‘I love you all so much. This is just exactly how you are. Beautiful. Happy birthday. David, you are amazing.’

Gary Neville, who was once David's teammate at Manchester United, also honored the ex-Real Madrid and PSG player with a heartfelt message posted online.

“Here’s to 50 years, buddy,” he started. “Take a moment to standstill today and ponder over all that you've accomplished and experienced in your first five decades.”

'We've experienced victories, defeats, joy, and sorrow but have shared unforgettable moments. I can vividly picture our parents watching us from the stands. Every achievement you've made reflects your humility, kindness, and dedication.'

He went on: 'I am proud of you and, even more importantly, I trust you with my life. My heart is full of love for you.'

On Thursday, Victoria got ahead of the birthday festivities by posting a video of everyone dancing to "Islands in the Stream," which was written by the Bee Gees and performed by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.

In her caption, she penned: 'My closest companion, my kindred spirit, and my lifelong dancing partner. As the lyrics go — we begin and conclude our journey as one, eternally united in love; we'll navigate this path side by side, oh yeah. I adore you.'

Victoria’s messages come after David, who co-owns Inter Miami, hosted an extravagant black-tie celeb event at his family's residence. in the Cotswolds.

The guests arrived elegantly attired in tuxedos and extravagant ball gowns for the evening. They were then pampered with cocktails and, as rumored, brief rides in luxurious supercars.

It has been reported that later in the evening, several guests ended up soaked after choosing to dive into the Beckham family's swimming pool in the spacious garden.

One of the guests providing insight into the atmosphere of the party was Cruz Beckham, David and Victoria’s youngest son, who came with his partner Jackie Apostel, aged 29.

The birthday festivities will carry on into Friday evening too, with David slated to be among the honored guests at Core – a prestigious three-star Michelin eatery located in Notting Hill.

His relatives will be attending along with famous acquaintances such as Tom Cruise and several of David's previous teammates from his time at Manchester United.
